Crunchy Breadsticks

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of flour

  • 1/2 cup of semolina

  • 1/2 cup of corn flour

  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

  • 2 Tbsp of sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup of warm water

  • 1 Tbsp of yeast

  • Sesame seeds for decoration


Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, semolina, corn flour, sugar and salt together.

  2. Add the vegetable oil and mix well with hand.

  3. Dissolve the yeast in the water and add them to the other ingredients.

  4. Knead until a soft dough forms.

  5. Let it rest for 30 mins.

  6. Cut the Dough into small equally sized balls.

  7. Roll each ball into a cylinder.

  8. Brush each with little milk and sprinkle sesame seeds for decoration.

  9. Let them rest in the baking tray (lined with baking paper) for another 30 mins.

  10. Bake in a preheated 170°C oven for 35 mins then turn the broil element on for 5-10 mins or until golden brown.

  11. Leave them inside the oven for 10 mins (after turning it off) for extra crunchiness.

  12. Enjoy!
