Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion finely chopped and 1 large onion cut into quarters.

  • 400g of spaghetti cooked according to package instructions, drained and set aside.

  • 5 boneless chicken breasts

  • 135 g tomoato paste.

  • 1 Tbsp of Salt.

  • 1/3 Tbsp of black pepper.

  • 2/3 Tbsp of mixed chicken spices.

  • vegetable oil.

  • Chicken spices:

1/3 Tbsp of salt,

1/4 Tbsp Black pepper,

1/3 Tbsp of garlic powder,

1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder

1/4 Tbsp mix chicken spices

1/4 Tbsp Oregon

1/3 Tbsp paprika



Directions:

  1. Wash chicken breasts with cold water then butterfly each of them.

  2. Mix all the chicken spices, then add the chicken and mix well.

  3. Pour some vegetable oil to a large cooking pan and over medium heat add the chicken. After 2 minutes flip the chicken then cover the pan and let the chicken it cook over low heat for 15 min.

  4. Uncover the pan and increase the heat to maximum to give the chicken a golden crust on one side then flip for the other side.Remove 🍝In a large pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add the finely chopped onions and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

  5. Remove the chicken from the pan.

  6. Add the finely chopped onions and cook until it becomes soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

  7. Add spaghetti and cook for another 5 minutes.

  8. Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper, and chicken spices and mix well.

  9. Add the chicken.

  10. Pour boiling water ( or sieved chicken broth if available) until all spaghetti is covered.

  11. Bake in preheated 200°c oven for 30-40 minutes.

  12. Optional: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake for further 5 minutes.

  13. Serve and ENJOY!!!
